Therapy Staff
Jordan Piel, MS CCC-SLP
Jordan is a licensed speech-language pathologist in Massachusetts, and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). He received his master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University, and also holds a bachelor's degree in Linguistics.
He began his specialized voice pathology training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he remains on staff part-time, collaborating with Harvard Medical School-affiliated physicians. His continuing education in voice therapy and training has included Lessac-Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy, Estill Voice Training, and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT). He is currently heading a research project to determine the effects of voice and singing therapy in people with Parkinson's Disease. Jordan attended the National Parkinson Foundation's Allied Team Training in 2008, and has presented on voice and speech changes associated with Parkinson's disease.
In addition to voice, his clinical interests include evaluation and treatment of fluency disorders (stuttering) and motor speech disorders (dysarthria). He enjoys singing rock, jazz, and other contemporary music, as well as playing guitar.

Lezli Whitehouse, MS CCC-SLP
Lezli works with Voicewize in the Chelmsford office several afternoons a week. She graduated from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 1998 with her Master of Science. She is currently working also in the Shirley Public School system.
Lezli is also an experienced actor and director. She has performed at the Worcester Children's Theatre and at Beyond Fairy Tales. She is a recipient of the Kennedy Center National Acting Award. Lezli is a frequent speaker on the topic of transgender voice treatment and has experience working with this specialty.

Nancy Williamson, MEd CCC-SLP
Nancy is our pediatric speech-language expert working out of the Dedham office. She received her Master's of Education in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeaster University. Since then, her primary focus has been on the school setting, though she has also worked at the Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital pediatric center.
Currently, Nancy works in the Westwood Public School system and shares her experience with us in the afternoon on Tuesdays.
