Music Notation Reading and Rhythm Class

Four-day February vacation week class:
February 15 - 18, 2010; 10:00 am - noon each day

Taught by our guitar teacher, Dan Pope, who also has his certification as a general music teacher.

Topics to be covered will be reading notes on the staff, understanding concepts of key signatures and time signatures, and reading notation rhythms. While Dan will relate the material to a keyboard in the classroom, the class will be fundamentally oriented toward the skills that singers need in order to improve sight singing and the speed at which they learn new material.
