Articulation Therapy for Children and Adolescents

Pressure is increasing on school-based speech-language pathologists to treat children with more complex cognitive-linguistic disabilities. The time required to prepare and implement these interventions leaves little opportunity to address children’s articulation disorders. Children with articulation disorders are frequently, by necessity treated in a group for less than 30 minutes per session, with little customization of the program to individual children’s needs.

Beginning with a complete individual assessment of your child’s speech sounds, we will work with you to create a plan of care that will maximize your child’s progress, while striving to avoid “therapy burnout”.
